DTNVS v2 MG - Manual Gain Enabled DTNVS
The latest iteration of the DTNVS platform is nearly identical to the original DTNVS but with one important, boundary-breaking additional feature; manual gain control.
The DTNVS v2 MG is the first proven, widely available custom-buildable night vision goggle that allows for manual gain control with most popular image tube types. The secret is in the pairing of the original goggle design with a custom manufactured electrical flex circuit that can be easily added to a standard image tube by a qualified technician, adding the necessary circuit for adjustable gain without having to re-engineer the entire system around a standard 11769 EGAC pigtail on a PVS14 style image tube.
The DTNVS v2 MG has everything we’ve grown to love about the original fixed-gain DTNVS, including light weight even with use of standard optics, automatic pod shutoff, optional IPD stops, but now with adjustable gain.
It’s everything we already like about the DTNVS, but with the addition of adjustable brightness/gain. If you are looking for a goggle with the feature set of legendary options like the PVS31A, but want more control over tube selection and tube type, then the DTNVS v2 MG should be at the top of your list, as it is fully customizable (and it also probably costs less too!).
